How long will it take me to do hair twists at a black hair salon?

my hair is about 3inches at the top, and about 2.25/2.5inches in the sides. i dont want tight small twists, i want them too look similar to this:

i have very tightly curled semi afro hair. also how much will it cost in the UK?


i dont want my hair to permanantly dread so i can take them out whenever i want, so do they stay in alot or do they go after one wash?

I don't know where you could go in the UK. I live in the States. But your hair will not lock up for 6 to 9 months. This depends on your hair type. If you have a very tight curl pattern then it will take from 6 months to a year for it to lock up. If you have a very loose curl pattern it will take from 9 months to a year for your hair to lock up. The locks will come out as soon as you wash your hair before then. You may have to combs the ends out, but the rest of your hair will remain loose. Good Luck :-)
